NILOA recruits, trains, and promotes lacrosse officiating at the youth and high school levels.
    All NILOA officials are independent contractors.

    ]]>     337     Officiate Lacrosse in Southern Nevada https://niloa.org/join/ Sun, 14 Oct 2018 04:16:58 +0000 http://niloa.org/?p=322 Individuals interested in becoming a boys lacrosse referee or girls lacrosse umpire in Las Vegas and greater Southern Nevada are invited to join NILOA!

    New NILOA officials start at Level 0 and master increasingly complex rules and field assignments in order to reach levels 1, 2, and 3.

    NILOA members are expected to join USA Lacrosse, attend pre and mid-season clinics, complete the USA Lacrosse online rules course, and pass the USA Lacrosse rules and mechanics test.

    Additional requirements are as follows:

    1. Be at least 18 years old (and at least two years older than those players you will officiate).
    2. Maintain your annual registration fee of $50.00.
    3. Participate in an evaluation conducted by NILOA evaluators (the results will be shared with you).
    4. Purchase a basic official’s uniform and timer from the vendor of your choice.
    5. Adhere to all NILOA performance policies.
